Security & Trust
Trust, the way finance defines it.
Finance doesn't take numbers on faith, and you shouldn't take a security page on faith either. Finla protects your books with encryption in transit and at rest, keeps a visible lineage behind every number, and publishes nothing until finance has reviewed it.
Encryption & access
Locked down by default.
Encrypted in transit
Every connection runs over TLS: your browser to Finla, and Finla to your accounting system. Nothing about your books ever moves in the clear.
Encrypted at rest
Ledger data, reports, and uploaded workbooks are stored encrypted with AES-256, backups included. Connection credentials are encrypted separately from everything else.
Read-only, revocable
Finla reads your accounting system. It never writes to it. Access is granted by you, scoped to what sync needs, and you can revoke it at any moment.
Lineage
Every number shows its work.
Most reporting tools ask you to trust the export. Finla keeps the chain from every claim back to the ledger cell it came from, so you can check any number yourself. A wrong number has nowhere to hide.
Operating expenses came in at $301,600 against a plan of $286,000,Opex · $301,6005.5% over, driven by contractor spend in EngineeringGL 6100 · +$9,800that started in May.
How finance reviews
Nothing goes out without finance.
Finla drafts, but it never speaks for you. Review and approval by your team is how the product works, not a setting you have to remember to turn on.
Finla drafts
The report and its narrative are drafted straight from the ledger, with every claim already cited to a cell.
Finance reviews
You read the draft the way you'd review an analyst's work: trace any number to its source, rewrite any sentence.
Your team approves
Nothing is published or sent to leadership until someone on your team approves it. There is no auto-send.
Data practices
How we work with your data.
Security review is part of buying finance software, and we make it straightforward. Walk through how Finla stores, syncs, and serves your books, and get direct answers to your diligence checklist from the team that built the product.
Contact usYou own your books
Finla holds a synced copy of data you already own. Disconnect it whenever you want.
Deletion on request
Leaving Finla? Ask, and your financial data is removed from our systems.
Never sold, never shared
Your financials are your company's record, not a dataset we monetize.
Access on a need basis
The people and systems that can touch your data are limited to what running the product requires.
Ask us the hard questions.
Book a demo, or write to us first. You'll get specific answers about how your books would be handled, not a form response.
